A design for the ground floor of a small hotel for a set of construction drawings for our Working Drawings course and studio in Springfield, Oregon. The lobby contains a small reception desk and a cocktail bar. The design embraces and celebrates the small footprint to create an intimate space that connects to a neighboring coffeeshop. The materials and furnishings reference the vernacular and industrial character of Springfield and its logging past. I used this project to explore rendered elevations and GIF-making as well.
